♦ Tour Summary(游记目录)>>>

Yokohama City(横浜市 in Japanese), as a famous international harbor, which is 434 square kilometers in area and has 355,922,6 inhabitants, belongs to Kanagawa Prefecture administratively and is the second biggest city in Japan next to Tokyo.

The day was cloudy when we reached Yokohama but no indication of rain. At Yamashita Park, our tourist guid only told us we had 15 mins to stay here so I held my camera throughout and pressed shutter rapidly.

On the opposite of the park, there was a China Town which called Nanjing Town before. Several decades years ago, Mr. Sun Zhongshan had fled to here and prepared for carrying out a new revolution in Chinese mainland. During that time the people in China Town provided strong supports for Mr.Sun’s action. And now, the decorated gateway(PaiLou) with “中华街” in Chinese Characters still stood the entrance of China Town. About one hundred of restaurants opened along both side of street and retained the traditional Chinese flavor.

It was near noon when we finished China Town and we would take two hours bus to get to Tokyo, so we couldn’t waste time even one minute. After a simple lunch, we started to go to the next city, also the last one in our tour – Tokyo, the Capital of Japan.
